Job Title: Warehouse Associate II
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for a wide range of tasks including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products, and shipping returns. Individuals in this position must have the ability to become certified and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Essential Duties
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship, process ERP transaction)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store, process ERP transaction)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. Monitor, analyze and reconcile discrepancies with inventory controls
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Inspect goods for defects and damages
- Resolve issues at the warehouse level
- Maintains forklifts, ensuring they have proper maintenance.
- Manages American Institution of Baking (AIB) auditing, processes, and associated paperwork.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 2 years of warehousing/logistics or ability to demonstrate the necessary level of skill is required
- 2 years of experience with inventory software, databases, and systems or ability to demonstrate a good understanding of utilization.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, talking, hearing, and use of hands and feet
- Frequent lifting up to 100 lbs., reaching, crouching, stooping, and kneeling
- Warehouse environment
- Strong scents, extreme temperatures, and frequent loud noises.
Driver Requirements
- This position may require up to 20% travel between location and vendor sites by use of company or personal motor vehicle
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, be a minimum of 21 years of age, and ability to hold a minimum personal auto liability insurance limit of $300,000 per accident, and $100,000 personal property
- Required to pass MVR check with relevance to Volm Companies Insurance policies
