Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and medical procedures
- Perform basic medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic X-ray procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiology technician
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong patient service skills, including effective communication and empathy
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as coding and billing
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and dosage calculations
