Description

This position is primarily responsible for coordinating the initial procurement, ongoing management, and monitoring of contracted client services funded by federal, state, local, and third-party payors. The Contracts Manager provides supervision and oversight for the Clinical and Grants Assistant and Client Records and Archives Manager. This position works collaboratively with other Quality & Compliance team members to support agency wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, highly detailed and analytical, and able to exercise discretion and deliberate communication across multiple disciplines.

What to expect on a given day as a Contracts Manager:

  • You’ll coordinate, collaborate, and consult with the Director of Quality & Compliance and other agency leadership in planning, implementation, and documentation for agency contracts and grants specific to program services.
  • You’ll utilize excellent technical and creative writing skills, ensure documentation clearly articulates the agency’s vision, mission and values, strategic initiatives, service offerings and contractual limitations.
  • You’ll maintain compliance with application and reporting requirements for all contracted funders and Healthy Families of America (HFA) accreditation.
  • You’ll alert organization of contract threats to compliance and initiate Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), as necessary.
  • You’ll assist in the detailed analysis of contract deliverables and performance measures.
  • You’ll provide regular supervision to the Clinical & Grants Assistant, and Client Records & Archives Manager to support their professional growth and ensure their quality of work.

 

You would be a good fit for this position if you:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree with two to four years’ related working experience (contract procurement and compliance) and knowledge of non-profit operations.
  • Having a Master’s degree from an accredited college, with work or coursework experience in grant or contracts management is a plus.
  • Have experience supervising teammates whether through voluntary or paid positions.
  • Have database experience, Microsoft Office usage (especially Excel, Word, or Access), and IT experience.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for data entry and information management.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information, administrative details, work independently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and provide strong customer service skills.

 

Working Conditions
This position requires sustained periods of work on the computer, including writing/typing. Remote work via telecommunications may be frequent, secure internet connection required. This position requires frequent and prolonged communication with others, in-person and via telephone/virtual conferencing. The employee will be asked to move around rooms or within a space. The employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, or greater with assistance. The employee must have transportation to all Agency sites, including external locations where events are held. This position occasionally requires evening and/or weekend work.
