The Manager- Patient Assistance Family Health Center is responsible for management of enabling services for the Family Health Care (FHC) system. This individual is responsible for understanding and applying process and project management for effective change in a consistent, standardized and effective manner across the system. The Manager- Patient Assistance FHC interacts with staff, operations staff, clinical staff/leadership, external contacts, patients, and customers with regard to financial assistance and outreach and enrolling in health care coverage programs, processes, policies and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Associate Degree or a minimum of 60 post-secondary credits in a business, management, healthcare administration or related field.
Preferred/Optional: Bachelor Degree in a business, management or healthcare administration. Completion of CPT, HCPCS and ICD-9 coding courses.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Three years’ management experience. Five years’ work experience in business, healthcare administration or related area.
Preferred/Optional: Two years’ management experience in a business or healthcare administration area.
