Regional Director of Operations

Come join an expanding Healthcare organization in Stevens Point. Family Health La Clinica has been serving the State of WI for over 60 years and is growing our services to include primary care, behavioral health and dental services in Beaver Dam and the surrounding communities.

Your primary responsibilities include developing and implementing a well-balanced operating plan for multiple, FQHC primary medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics in Stevens Point, Friendship, and Mauston. Leads operational teams and providers to obtain the desired results while ensuring compliance with all organizational, state, and federal regulations related to healthcare, quality assurance, safety, and labor laws. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provides guidance and motivation to clinic leadership and staff to ensure the clinic has a trained and satisfied work team and lead the team in the efficient provision of clinic services that provide quality patient care, high customer satisfaction, and financial profitability.
• Focuses on the growth of the business while strengthening and retaining existing patient relationships.

• Interacts with the executive leadership to manage budgets, assists with interviews for hiring new staff, and coordinates communications with leadership.
• Makes operational decisions, executes, and delivers on those decisions, and provides feedback to leadership.
• Reviews clinic performance, identifies inefficiencies or deviations from standards, provides proper guidance to staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Leads financial and business planning efforts to identify new business opportunities.

What you’ll need to be successful.

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in healthcare or related field

• 5 years management experience in a healthcare environment
• Medical Primary Care leadership experience preferred
• Proactive leader with a positive outlook & outgoing personality
• Ability to independently operate at a high level without direct oversight
• Ability to manage multiple healthcare teams at one time
• Strong analytical and critical decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to travel between sites, and occasionally away from the area.
