Title: Secretary
Reports To: Chief Human Resource Officer
Supervision Exercised: None
Typical Working Conditions: Working in an office environment. Some bending and stretching required. Working under stress and use of telephone required.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Excellent organization and communications skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
Primary Function: The primary function of this position is to answer all incoming calls in a timely, pleasant and efficient manner. To open, sort and send out all incoming and outgoing mail. Provide secretarial support to administrative staff as necessary.
General Summary of Duties:
· Answer incoming telephone calls in a personable, efficient manner, appropriately identifying self and the site.
· Ensures that all time sheets are collected and accurate, organizes paychecks for disbursement.
· Does the daily deposit. (cash, check and credit card). Submits all payments to NBT bank, via check scanner.
· Maintains the absentee controller on a bi-weekly basis.
· Advise all employees of / and provide necessary paperwork for employee evaluations.
· Will organize and keep in good order all filing/archiving for the Administrative Dept.
· Type necessary reports, correspondence and program related materials as assigned.
· Sort and deliver mail and other correspondence.
· Make up SHP Medical/Dental packets and MOLST forms, pink releases.
· Make address labels as needed.
· Make copies as requested.
· Assist with projects as requested.
· Promote excellent guest relations with any individual who interacts with the FHN facilities and or staff, such as patients, visitors, physicians, employees and volunteers.
· This position requires compliance with Health Center’s written standards, including its Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures pertaining to all operational aspects, furthermore this position is required to report any suspected instances of noncompliance.
· Maintains strictest confidentiality of patient, staff and FHN information.
· This position will function as a contributing member of the emergency preparedness team under the incident command system.
· All other duties as assigned.
· This position will function as a contributing member of the FHN Dramatic Performance Improvement Model of Care to ensure that FHN’s Team-Based Care is the most sustainable, efficient method for providing high-quality, satisfying, and equitable health care to our patient population

Pay: $16.40 - $22.00 per hour
