We are seeking a dedicated Surrogacy Journey Case Manager to oversee and facilitate the surrogacy experiences of both surrogates and intended parents. The ideal candidate is adaptable, excels in challenging environments, and possesses innovative problem-solving skills. A meticulous attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
Role Responsibilities
- Surrogacy Process Oversight: Manage all phases of the surrogacy process, from initial planning through to postpartum care.
- Candidate Assessment: Create in-depth profiles and evaluations for potential surrogacy candidates.
- Surrogacy Education: Provide clients with educational materials and insights into the surrogacy process.
- Client Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison among clients, legal experts, medical staff, and mental health professionals.
- Communication & Support: Address client concerns, guide them through emotional and logistical challenges, and provide ongoing support throughout the surrogacy journey.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and produce timely reports on surrogacy case progress.
- Team Collaboration: Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to collective goals.
- Record Maintenance: Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all client records.
- Compliance & Ethics: Adhere strictly to legal standards and ethical practices within the industry.
- Educational Background: Must be a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW)
- Experience: At least 4 years in social work, preferably with adult case management.
- Experience in surrogacy, adoption, or third-party reproduction is highly advantageous.
- Must have had experience working with women and pregnancies.
- Exceptional Communicator: Strong ability in both verbal and written communication.
- Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence with the ability to adapt communication styles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with digital communication tools.
- Organizational Expertise: Strong organizational abilities with a knack for adapting to fast-paced environments.
- Professionalism and Empathy: Maintain professionalism and empathy, especially under pressure.
- Drive: A strong personal commitment to succeed in a dynamic field.
- Status: Full-time, Salary, FLSA Exempt
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (flexible hours; some nights and weekends may be required)
- Location: Hybrid – in office and work from home
