What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Family Medicine of Carthage, PC?
- Be able to check patients in & out, create appointments and dispense any orders in a timely and friendly manner
- Computer skills, EHR, EMR knowledge, insurance portal navigation, with abilities to operate basic office equipment is a must
- Professional & courteous phone management skills, paying close attention to details
- Obtain and update patient and insurance information, making necessary changes to keep the data accurate, for billing and referral purposes
- Protect patient's rights of confidentiality; mandatory familiarity with HIPAA compliance rules & regulations
- Knowledge of ICD 10 & CPT Coding, and medical terminology helpful, but not required
- Our office is seeking a reliable, dependable, positive individual that possesses the ability to multitask and adapt when needed with willingness to work together as a team to coordinate seamless care for our patients
