What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Visitation Supervisor position at Family Nurturing Center?
POSITION IS HOURLY AND NON-EXEMPT FROM WAGE AND HOUR REQUIREMENTS.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Visitation Supervisor monitors visits/exchanges to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the children by enforcing compliance with program policies and procedures. The Visit Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and observing supervised visits. The Visit Supervisor will complete a report after each visit, and will ensure program policies and procedures are implemented. Must be flexible in working hours to attend staff meetings and required training. May be required to fill in for visit supervisors in other programs within the agency.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:
- Monitor visits/exchanges between children and parents/relatives and enforce policies and procedures.
- Complete observation reports after every visit/exchange, and incident reports as needed. Documentation must be grammatically correct and written in an objective style.
- Responsible to ensure rooms are cleaned and toys straightened after each visit.
- Complete training in the areas of domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, and other topics as required to be in compliance with SVN and FSU Standards.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor and maintain a high level of decorum in the work setting.
- Maintain boundaries between clients and self, specifically refrain from engaging in personal conversations, and other behaviors which may be construed as favoritism, friendship, dislike, and other personal biases.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and program information both during work hours and in personal settings. This includes the protection of confidentiality on social media websites and other public forums.
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive while applying the overarching standards and goals of safety, confidentiality, and other needs when making decisions about new issues. Demonstrate the ability to use critical high level thinking to analyze problems and make determinations that support the organizations goals, priorities, and preferences.
- Arrive on time for all assigned shifts, meetings, and other work events. Maintain a commitment to working a consistent and regular schedule, and provide back up support to co-workers at all FNC sites as necessary to maintain operations to clients at the direction of supervisors.

- Capacity for problem solving, conceptual thinking, time management, and goal setting.

- Possess a professional demeanor in working with community services providers.
WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, age of 18 years or older, valid driver’s license and dependable transportation is required. Human service experience is highly preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

The employee is also required to work outside in a designated area when families choose to use outdoor space. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
REQUIRED OFFICE/MACHINE EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE:
Capable with personal computer. Experience with basic Office applications.

Nassau County site (in the Yulee area) operates the following hours: Wed: 6:15p - 8:30p Fri: 6:15p - 8:30p Sun: 12:45p - 4:30p
