School Health Aide

Position: School Health Aide
Family of Kidz is seeking a proactive and engaging School Health Aide who is passionate about working with a best-in-class team that delivers the highest quality of care to families of children with special needs.

About this role:

• The position goes until the end of the school year with the possibility of obtaining a full-time role with the organization
• Smithtown, NY
• Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Responsibilities: *

• 1:1 with elementary school child
• Diligently maintain child’s EpiPen and utilize in the need of an emergency
• Follows established school procedures for care and reporting of injuries and illness
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Participate in team meetings as appropriate.
