We are looking for an independent, self-motivated, and innovative individual in this position. The Acquisition and Repair Tech will be responsible for developing mobile park relationships, purchasing mobile homes, and coordinating with other PIH team members on program excellence. Work is performed remotely from home, in the office, on-site in mobile home communities, on location at prospective new homes. Lifting of materials of up to 40 pounds may be necessary. Driving is a requirement of the position, must have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record. Job may require working occasional evenings and weekends.

You’ll Get To:
PIH Program
- Drive program growth by expanding the geographic region of the PIH program as well as the implementation of innovative business models for new property acquisitions.
- Become a subject matter expert on mobile home communities in our area.
- Develop and maintain relationships with mobile home park owners and managers.
- Execute a marketing and communication effort with mobile home park owners and managers.
- Work with the PIH family services team to ensure proper transfer of title to families upon completion of programming.
PIH and FP Owned Communities
- Identify available mobile homes for sale, negotiate and execute the purchase of mobile homes.
- Complete pre-purchase valuation and inspection of homes.
- Coordinate with the PIH team on rehab project scope and budget.
- Execute buy agreements, execute title transfers, and ensure property insurance is on each home.
- Set up utilities for each home (gas, electric, water, sewer, trash removal, etc.)
- Complete pre-occupancy and move-out home inspections.
- Work with the PIH team and Park Ownership team to achieve all outcome goals for the programs.
- Assist the management of work orders for Family Promise-owned PIH and Park home.
Other Duties:
- Responsible for maintaining proper title, plates, and insurance on Family Promise owned vehicles.
- Additional duties as needed to support the agency.

- Must be detail oriented and able to execute flawlessly on projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to see the full scope of the problem/project to diagnose core issues and then generate, evaluate, and implement solutions.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Google suite of products.
