Qualifications:

• Education Required: Open. 
• Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (Two years of experience as a domestic violence case manager in a major social service program may be substituted for a year of college).
• Experience Required: Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience Preferred: Paid or volunteer human service experience (with children, domestic violence and sexual assault victims).
• Valid drivers’ license in good standing and vehicle with appropriate auto insurance required.  Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.

Position Specifics

• Typically reflecting a 32 hour work week.
• Position Hours: Typically, Monday – Thursday 8:30am-5pm with flexibility to meet client needs.
• Full-time position.
• Nonexempt hourly position.
• $27.65 per hour estimated $46,000 per year.

• Participation in on call rotation required.

Position Details

The Coordinator of Service will provide one on one case management, housing advocacy, immediate Sheltering and related supportive services, and emotional support to all Sheltering residents. This position will also provide follow up services with residents who have transitioned out of Sheltering. In addition, this position will provide emotional support and crisis intervention to callers on the 24-hour Domestic Violence-Rape/Sexual Assault crisis line, human trafficking, and other violent crimes. They will provide short- and long-term culturally/linguistically appropriate services to promote the health, safety and well-being of survivors. This position must be available and capable to participate in the 24 hour on-call rotation for Survivor Services. This position must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Assistant Supervisor of Sheltering & Housing. This position will need to have a flexible schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
