Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully.
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable and fun full-time Mental Health Technician for our overnight team at Our Place, an 18-bed Community-Based Residential Facility serving adults with mental health and/or emotional issues who are experiencing difficulty caring for themselves in an independent living environment. A Mental Health Tech's primary duties are to provide emotional support and encourage residents to participate in activities; pass medications; ensure Individual Service Plans are followed; and respect and support clients and team members. The shifts are overnight and include facility cleaning and food prep, as well as being available for residents as needed. Shifts are 8:30pm-8am. Team members work a 2-2-3 rotation, enjoying every other three day weekend off! Compensation includes a full benefits package.
Qualified candidates will have minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience working with the chronically mentally ill and completed CBRF training is preferred for this position but not required. A valid driver's license is also preferred for this position.
