The Global Standards Senior Technical Designer leads all aspects of global brand development. The role prioritizes activities that support global standardization and drives the implementation of technical product standards. It will ensure global standard objectives are being met on product developed and manufactured under Nike Apparel, Jersey, Fanatics Brand and Headwear. 

• Lead and execute the Global development process for all stages of Body & Fit Standard Validation. Establish core consumer standard body measurements, inclusive of Size Guides & nominated Fit Forms.
• Manage efforts to maintain product fit standards and annual analysis according to current ASTM guidelines and industry standards, considering competition, key retailers and market influence. Conducting competitor product analysis in comparison to Fanatics standard specs. 
• Collaborate to connect a global strategy on all brands, genders and seasons to reach consensus cross-functionally. Stay abreast to international size standards and apply across brands as needed.
• Oversee Core Block Pattern Library modifications in conjunction with Body & Fit Validation. Maintain appropriate fit block reference libraries and grading standards to manage product consistency, creating global product consistency, reducing sample timelines and fit iterations in the product development cycle.
• Standardize Grade Rules & implementation cross categories. Responsible for the global standards across brands, genders inclusive of Alvanon fit form designation. In conjunction with graded body measurements, validating standard product grading & sizing. Lead Spec Template establishment or updates based on standard updates.
• Governance of Product Fit Hierarchy & Guidelines.
• Key liaison with Product integrity on Fanatics Branded Quality Analysis Task Force with quantifying consumer product return insight, review & conclusions. Communicate any standard updates, inclusive of training when required.
• Manage Construction Standards Library and how to measure Guide, Author, Update & Communicate Vendor Playbook Development Guidelines & Standards. Establish Global Technical Design product, process and standards manuals. Consistently reviews process and fundamentals to improve and align best practices.
• Flex Seasonal Tech Design Support for the Development organization where needed.
• Active membership in product related boards such as ASTM.

• BS or Master’s Degree in Product Development, Technical Design, Pattern Making, Fit Engineer or related field, with minimally 10 years of relative hands-on experience
• Ability to manage priorities in high workflow, high-pressure environment with strong sense of urgency
• Strong knowledge of global manufacturing and operations capabilities
• Strong fabric knowledge as applied to garment fit
• Strong and proven interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal and external partners
• Must be deadline driven and have a pro-active and creative approach to problem solving
• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Previous experience fitting Professional Athletic apparel a plus
• Experience in working with off-shore factories and knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes
• Excellent pattern making/grading skills
