POSITION SUMMARY
- The Low Voltage Project Manager oversees Low Voltage Projects making sure they are on time and on budget.
- Oversees installation of and maintenance of all Systems including but not limited to, Surveillance Cameras, Digital Video Recorders, Access Control Systems, Intercom, Audio, Video, and all related cabling, and other systems as assigned.
- Onsite Configures and tests all installed systems.
- Effectively troubleshoots and repairs faulty equipment or conditions.
- Responds to dispatched service calls in a timely manner. Reports issues requiring vendor escalation or parts/materials.
- Communicates any issues of delays to client and adjust timeline.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION:
Associate degree or 2 year college coursework equivalent is required.
Dependable transportation.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
Valid driver’s license required.
Low Voltage license preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to maintain and upgrade all systems (hardware and software).
- Able to maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment, maintain service records, upgrades, and warranty information.
- Knowledge of Surveillance Cameras, Digital Video Recorders, Access Control Systems, Intercom, Audio, Video, and all related cabling, and other systems.
- Technical and computer skills.
- Effective communications skills (written/oral).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Performs basic point-to-point troubleshooting on CCTV, Keyless Access and Intercom equipment.
- Inspects and coordinates work performed by Subcontractors to ensure projects meet scope of work, project specifications, and guideline requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining regular communication with supervisor and management staff through the use and check of email, mobile phones, regular team meetings, direct connect device, work order system, and other communication tools.
- Responds as directed to emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Manages the time and attendance function in the work order system to input project time, daily work, and leave time requirements; enter ticket status updates; and place materials requests.
- Meets or exceeds all required productivity goals according to Service Level Agreements, i.e. service call response times, ticket closure status updates, and all others as determined by the Director.
- Performs continual skills updates, training, and research to stay abreast of current and emerging related technologies and product enhancements.
- Maintains strong written and effective oral communication skills for both internal and external customers, and peers.
- Demonstrates attention to detail to ensure successful resolution to customer requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Shift times may vary based on assignments made by the Director.
- Required to have prompt, regular attendance in-person and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours and as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.
- Ability to receive and distribute materials to job sites

- Position requires climbing ladders, frequent walking, stooping, crawling, pushing, balancing, lifting of more than 50 lbs. and operating heavy equipment.
- Works in confined areas, stockroom, closets, etc. above and below ground level.
