Interior Designer

We are currently looking for an Interior Designer to join our team. To be successful in this role with FHT you must be passionate about design and creating new spaces for our customers. You must also be able and willing to problem solve and communicate effectively with the FHT team, vendors, subcontractors, and most importantly, our customers. Responsibilities:

· Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their individual design requirements and aspirations across diverse spaces. Assist clients in realizing their functional and aesthetic goals for the space, leveraging your expertise to steer the design journey, craft purposeful and creative environments.

· Efficiently manage each project from start to finish including interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating interior design assignments.

· Conceptualize designs through 2D or 3D plans, working in tandem with a range of stakeholders including vendors, salespeople, FHT team members and clients

· Procure materials and supervise the implementation of the final design.

· Resolve client or design issues in a professional and positive manner, with the focus on client satisfaction.

· Maintain a system of records and processes that result in efficiency and consistency.

· Utilize continuing education opportunities to stay current with trends and best practices in interior design.

· Possess a sense of ownership in all deliverables.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

· Associate degree in Interior Design or related field.

· Experience using design software such as: ProKitchen, 2020, and Chief Architect or similar programs.

· Demonstrable design experience including knowledge of current trends and finishes.

· Capable of articulating design vision to clients and various stakeholders, internal team, contractors, etc.

· Must be able to interpret and complete work according to drawings, specifications, and other documents including reviewing and editing specifications according to project needs.

· Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines, including aptitude to inspect project sites during different stages.

· Ability to visually survey, measure, and assess project sites while under construction, including the ability to take accurate measurement using tape measure, level, and combination square.

· Ability to prepare conceptual renderings for project design, presentation, and for internal team.

· Outstanding organizational skills and work ethic with the ability to work independently

· Must be able to coordinate between internal team, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure a seamless process and experience for all parties involved.

· Strong collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to attract and retain new clientele.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

· Bachelor or Masters degree in Interior Design or related field

· NCIDQ Certification

· Experience in the construction/remodeling industry.
