What You’ll Do: The Director of Financial Services Sales is responsible for recruiting, developing, and leading a team of life, annuity, investment and fiduciary professionals Wealth Management Advisors and Wealth Management Consultants focused on driving life, annuity and leading fee-based business through active coaching and cross-sell with our multi-line agent clients. Additional key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver Wealth Management Assets Under Management (AUM), Wealth Management Advisor (WMA) Wealth Management Consultant (WMC) headcount and revenue goals according to the defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Responsible for the recruitment process of WMAs/WMCs disciplines from Agent introduction through onboarding, as well as other sources.
  • Work with Leadership and Life Sales Support Teams to assess the effectiveness of training programs and sales systems. Identify training and performance gaps, develop, and implement training program refinements to address identified deficiencies.
  • Oversee the entire client/accounts onboarding process to ensure optimum transition experience for Advisors and their clients.
  • Responsible for driving the deliverables of marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee all staff development including selection, training, and development; performance review, salary administration, controlling workflow, motivation of employees and assigned budget activities.


What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 12 years Wealth Management experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years field-level management experience, significant recruiting, and compliance experience required.
  • FINRA Registered Representative Series 7 & 24 and 65/66. CFP preferred.
  • Leadership and organizational skills, plus proven ability to build and sustain relationships with business partners both internally and externally required.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality required.
  • Strong customer service and public relations skills required.
  • Experience managing in a highly matrixed organization is preferred.
  • Extensive travel required and valid driver’s license.
