We are excited for you to apply to our Construction Disbursement Specialist. This position can be located in many of our Michigan branches, Alma, Ann Arbor, Corunna, East Lansing, Howell, Lakeview, Lapeer, Saginaw, or St. Johns. This position is an integral part of our team that actively engages with our customers to provide exceptional service meeting or exceeding their expectations personally or through team members. Provide innovative, efficient support of sales, credit, and financial products primarily through loan document preparation and servicing. Supply administrative support to all members of the GreenStone team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for accuracy of receipt and disbursement records to reconcile with sworn statements.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction documents included sworn statements, lien waivers, title company endorsements, etc.

Utilize construction reports to prioritize and monitor construction projects by ordering mortgage surveys and inspections to keep all parties apprised of status.

Engage in clear and proactive communication throughout the construction draw process with the borrower, builder, and title company.

Successfully oversee the end of the construction loan process by converting builder's risk to property insurance, certificate of occupancy, disburse remaining loan funds, etc.

High School diploma required.

2 years customer service or office experience required.

1 years loan processing or title insurance experience preferred.

Experience with mortgage and/or title work preferred.

Excellent customer service skills.

Knowledge of varied loan policies, procedures, and practices is desired.

Must demonstrate the ability to utilize computer technology and multiple software applications.

Knowledge of financial principles and practices, credit processing and servicing activities is desired.

Experience in cash handling, receipting and disbursing funds, and cash balancing is desired.
