Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly
JOB SUMMARY:
Determines extent of necessary repairs and performs service for mechanical malfunctions on push and riding lawn mowers, chain saws, tillers, weed eaters, and related power equipment in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Completes special projects directed by a member of management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.

JOB SUMMARY:
Determines extent of necessary repairs and performs service for mechanical malfunctions on push and riding lawn mowers, chain saws, tillers, weed eaters, and related power equipment in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicates product information clearly and effectively to our customers.
- Ability to review equipment manuals and warranties accurately.
- Places special orders for required parts as needed.
- Maintains Stihl, Cub Cadet and other vendor sales logbook and completes Warranty documentation.
- Contacts customer for repair approval after the extent of repair needed is determined.
- Must follow Safety Compliance procedures such as wearing safety glasses and storing various fuels in clearly marked containers along with the ability to be Tow Motor certified.
- Maintain neat, safe and well organized shop and storage area.
- Must be able to set up and assemble new equipment.
- Stocking merchandise, unloading semis, cart retrieval, maintenance of farm lot and helping customers with load-outs is required.
- Must be able to use both hand tool and power tools as needed.
- Exposed to hazardous chemicals such as: gasoline, oil, and carburetor cleaner.
- Weight lifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
- Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, manipulate bolts, nuts or other fasteners for purposes of disassembly and reassembly of equipment.
- Must have basic knowledge of products and ability to engage customers to sell products.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EDUCATION:
- Minimum Age requirement is 18 years old.
- Minimum of 6 months previous engine repair required. Certified training preferred.
- Overnight travel stays required on occasion to attend supplier’s certification classes.
- Positive attitude with a passion for collaborating with Team Members that want to grow.
