Bookkeeper

The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a meticulous and well-organized individual with a passion for organizational collaboration and maintaining accurate financial records. Working in close partnership with and reporting to the Controller, the Bookkeeper is a critical position that serves as a bridge between our dedicated camp staff and administrative team. On a day-to-day basis, the Bookkeeper’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the daily financial transactions of Farm & Wilderness Foundation and Farm & Wilderness Conservation. This position's impact is significant as it requires extensive collaboration and frequent interactions with team members across the organization.

We are seeking individuals with at least 3 years of finance experience who are also proficient in QuickBooks Online. Schedule & Benefits: Full-time (40 hours per week) year-round position. In-office schedule 5 days a week April through October, with possibility for some hybrid work hours during the off-season (November – March). Qualifications:

· Three (3) or more years of accounting related experience

· Experience with non-profits highly preferred

· QuickBooks Online experience highly preferred

· Strong computer skillset including Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel

· Proficient with virtual tools including Microsoft Teams and Zoom

· Proficiency in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) particularly as they pertain to nonprofit organizations

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines required
