Description/Job Summary
Work with other operators in the department as a team to accomplish all of the job tasks. Primary duties will be assigned on a rotating basis. Operators will be expected to back each other up on all job duties as needed. Operators will perform Overdraft and Cash Management, Fraud review, Item balancing, Teller Assistance, Reconciliation, Abandoned Property, and Exception processing procedures. Operators will provide frontline support for various systems within the bank.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Administer the Overdraft Privilege and Fresh Start programs. This duty is performed daily.
- Perform ACH and Cash Management file processing. This duty is performed daily.
- Perform charge off procedures for accounts overdrawn at least 60 days. This duty is performed daily.
- Perform item balancing and related activities. This duty is performed daily.
- Monitor various systems for fraud including mobile and ATM deposit transactions. This duty is performed daily.
- Reconcile the teller cash spreadsheet and communicate with managers. This duty is performed daily.
- Perform various reconciliation procedures. This duty is performed daily.
- Perform abandoned property procedures. This duty is performed daily.
- Assist with IT support calls and tickets. This duty is performed daily.
- Process NSF, Stop Pay, other non-posted items, and return items. This duty is performed daily.
- Assist tellers with equipment related issues with teller cash recyclers, scanners, etc. This duty is performed as needed.
- Provide back-up to various areas of the IT Systems & Applications Department. This duty is performed as needed.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. This duty is performed as needed.
- Represent the bank at community events and in civic organizations. This duty is performed as needed.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Details
Must deliver Farmers' Advantage Customer Service to all customers, both internal and external. Must maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information at all times. Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy and be able to work independently. Must be able to cross-train for other positions.
