Warehouse Operator
Job Posting for Warehouse Operator at Farmers Grain & Feed LLC
Overall Responsibility: Receiving, storing and retrieving all non-bulk items required for the manufacturing and selling of feed and related products. Additionally, this operator assists with the feed manufacturing operations.
Key Duties:
- Unload and record the receipt of inbound material. Verify actual receipts to orders. Correct and communicate discrepancies of quantity or damaged product.
- Place materials in proper locations, protect the quality of all products, record these locations for efficient retrieval.
- Pick materials required for production and outbound orders. Make required inventory transactions. Move these materials to the required location.
- Load outbound materials into company owned or customer vehicles.
- Monitor all material stored in the warehouse for quality, inventory rotation and accuracy. Ensure equipment and material is safely stored and handled.
- Monitor the inventory levels in the production and retail areas. Replenish these areas as needed with product from the warehouse.
- Ensures that forklifts and equipment are in safe and good condition, report or repair any defects.
- Ensures safety compliance
- Accurately completes and maintains assigned reports, logs and documents.
- Makes sure work area is neat and clean.
Requirements:
- HSED or GED preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Forklift experience
