Essential Duties:
The job duties listed below are an overview of the essential duties and measures required to be successful in the position. Please note that the listed examples do not include all tasks, which may be expected within this job position.- Deliver guest amenities to guest rooms and prepare refreshment packages as needed- maintain current and unexpired CA Food Handler Certificate
- Use the house car to drive to and from local businesses to assist with guest related “errands” as needed- maintain current and unexpired CA Driver’s License and auto insurance

Pay Range::
The starting pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Rooms Optional Gratuity. This is the pay range for this position that Farmhouse Inn reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Essential Duties:

- Warmly welcome guests to Farmhouse Inn
- Embody and deliver warm and professional service
- Assist guests in bringing luggage and belongings to and from their guest rooms
- Provide guest with a “rundown” and tour of functions and features in their guest room
- Assist concierge team as needed to provide guests with exceptional service quality
- Provide a helping hand to the housekeeping team with weekly linen inventory and restocking
- Help maintain public areas near pool, reception, and guest pathways so guests see a snapshot of perfection at all times
- Respond promptly to any inquiries from guests, or route the inquiries immediately to the correct party
- Open arriving packages and deliver to correct departments
- Set up for daily, evening “wine hour”
- Establish and maintain positive relationship with guests to promote loyalty and repeat business
- Ensure front of house arrival area is a snapshot of perfection at all times
- Ability to lead by example and provide guidance for bell team
- Responsibility of assisting with training of new bell team members
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication between Bell Captain, Manager on duty, and Bell Team
- Suggesting and implementing new operating procedures to enhance proficiency and the guest experience
- Anticipating guest departure and assisting with luggage pick up
- Handling guest luggage upon arrival and departure
- Tracking guest movement and communicating with housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant as to when guests leave property, where they are going, and when to expect them back
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of departmental equipment/supplies
General Requirements::
Education::
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CA Food Handlers Card
Experience::
- Experience in hospitality or related guest service environment
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
- Excellent oral & written communication skills, attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of electronic communication platforms (Outlook email, time keeping system, Microsoft Word etc.)
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, with composure
- Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and complies with Farmhouse Inn standards
- Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs, weekend & holiday availability is mandatory
- Current and unexpired CA Driver’s License and auto insurance is a plus but is not mandatory to be successful in this position
