Objectives of this role:
- Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration

- Work with project managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers.
- Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of departmental managers.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
- Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
- Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
- Oversees manufacturing, purchasing, and sales departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership.
- Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives.
- Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
- Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
- Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of guest services, concierge and bell services, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance projects, food & beverage operations, and spa.
- The Director of Operations is also overall responsible for providing all guests with quality service while maximizing room revenue and productivity and developing managers and employees.
- Responsible for ensuring total compliance with standards of operation; ensuring that staffing is maintained at an appropriate level to match business demand; participating in all regular and ad hoc operational meetings and in the formulation of strategic business plans; establishing monthly reporting system to monitor; handling all guest complaints expeditiously to complete resolution; closely monitoring the financial performance of all departments, in particular monitoring all Rooms expenses to ensure that they are kept in line with budget; and providing solutions to improve problem areas and assisting in implementing corrective measures.
- In charge of replying to all guests post stay via our guest’s satisfaction platform (Revinate).
Required skills and qualifications:
- Ten or more years in a senior leadership role in a field related to our industry
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field
- Experience in developing budgets and business plans
- Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ex: SAP, ERP, CRM)
