A Lead Programmer/Analyst in the Administrative Computing department will function as a software developer and provide technical support for the College's administrative and academic areas (with emphasis on Ellucian's Banner Student Information System). Supported areas include, but are not limited to: Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Finance, Institutional Research, Academic Affairs and Student Affairs.
The individual will analyze departmental requirements as assigned, design and write programming code, document the system, implement and maintain moderately complex application programs utilizing programming languages and operating systems as needed. The incumbent must work effectively with end users, to understand their technical and operational needs and then document those needs and present them to more senior members of the programming staff. The candidate must have the ability to provide product training and technical assistance to the campus community.
