Farnsworth Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Land Development Team in our Indianapolis, IN, office. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing our private-sector and public-sector municipal clients with cost-effective, user-friendly, and attractive developments, as well as developing new client relationships.
Job Activities:
- Plan, design and manage a variety of private and public sector civil engineering projects
- Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines
- Attend city council/ board meetings as needed
- Communicate with clients regarding current and future projects
- Organize and complete projects from inception to completion
- Prepare project proposals
- Assist with business development efforts
Specific Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 7-12 years of civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Experience working with private owner projects and clients
- Ability to effectively manage clients and participate in business development activities
- Strong team player that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Contract and negotiating skills
