Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute construction projects safely, on-time, and within budget in a team environment.
- Monitor, control, and report budget during all phases of project.
- Manage projects seamlessly with proactive communication between suppliers, vendors,and team.
- Monitor and collaborate with Foreman to ensure execution of scope of work.
- Ensure compliance with approved contract documents and general contractorrequirements.
- Coordinate all necessary tooling, equipment, documentation, and safety requirementswith Foreman for successful execution of projects.
- Partner with Project Engineers to prepare design and construction documents.
- Coordinate with Operation Team for scheduling labor and equipment.
- Maintain regular contact with Farrell’s customers.
- Coordinate, organize, and review project documents.
- Submit and follow up on construction documents (i.e. submittals, schedules, Requests for Information).
- Procure quotes and materials for projects.
- Visit job sites occasionally as necessary.
- Assist Safety Manager with hazard analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Knowledge of contract management, claims management and dispute resolution
- Understanding of engineering science and technology, design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- 3-5 years’ experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Valid class C driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Microsoft software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- PDF software skills (Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field plus 3-5 years of project management experience in geotechnical construction.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which meets the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Desired Education/Training/Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
Up to 25% overnight travel within a given region required for this position
