What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Analyst position at Farther?
As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in executing the operational efficiency and accuracy of Farther’s wealth management process. You will support the seamless client experience by performing the financial operations required for client support, trading execution, and data management. You will help us define, deliver, and improve our operational processes. You will work closely with our client experience, product and engineering teams to continually push the boundaries of wealth management. As a member of Farther’s operations team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact not just on the company, but on the entire wealth management industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Support: Provide support to Advisors and Client Experience Associates in addressing client inquiries, account inquiries, and transaction-related matters.
- Trade Execution: Assist in the execution of trades for client portfolios. Identify discrepancies and work to reconcile any errors.
Data Management: Help to manage and reconcile all client account data that is integrated between all of our custodians, platforms, and softwares.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with internal team members and our custodians to ensure client satisfaction and flawless execution.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize our proprietary portal, custodian platforms, and wealth management software and tools to streamline operations and enhance the client experience. Identify and escalate issues and inefficiencies to guide our roadmap and improve the operations function.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of work experience in the financial services industry
- Strong interest in operational support
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Well organized with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-past environment and ability to handle multiple competing tasks
