We are looking for a trained, compassionate Home Health Aide to assist in daily living and personal care services in patient’s private home per their individualized care plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide health care services in patient’s private residence
  • Perform domestic and household tasks
  • Accompany patient to doctors office or hospital
  • Administer simple prescribed medications
  • Assist with client’s personal care activities
  • Monitor patient’s (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
  • Maintain patient's care records and document provided services
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
  • Collect routine specimens
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as Home Health Aide for at least 1 year
  • Ability to monitor vital signs and collect specimens
  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in English
  • Nursing and health care administration skills
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current First Aid training certificate
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current immunizations including COVID vaccinations

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
