What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulance Biller position at Fast Track EMS?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent supplemented by college level course work. Prefer at least 1 year of experience in the field of Dispatching / Call taking and Ambulance billing experience, Communications, or Emergency Medical Services.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under indirect supervision perform duties of intake, prioritization, and dispatch to completion for all incoming calls to the company for placement in emergent and non-emergent situations. Additionally work in a billing department filing claims for reimbursement as directed by the billing manager.

Skill Sets:
- Proficient with computers. Familiar with programs such as(but not limited to) Quickbooks, Excel, Word, etc
- Excellent communication skills
- Base understanding of medical terminology
- Accounting and Bookkeeping skills
- Ability to form and maintain positive relationships with both patients and medical staff
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Valid & current CPR card (Can be completed upon hire)
- In good standing with State & County Office of EMS
- CAC Certification within 6 months of hire
