Job Overview:
FastPay is expanding its development team. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic candidates looking for the challenges and rewards of working in a small startup environment. You will be part of a collaborative development team that develops, tests, deploys and supports FastPay's suite of media finance products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and improve QA standards, test strategy, and processes
- Create and update test documentation based on product requirements and functional specifications
- Execute test cases and test scripts, and report test statuses
- Support the testing, release, and maintenance of production systems and cloud infrastructure
- Develop test automation leveraging testing tools such as Selenium, Python, PyUnit
- Report bugs and issues in a detailed manner and work closely with the development and product team to resolve them
- Provide technical support by troubleshooting production issues and identifying solutions or escalating to engineering support
- Training, motivating, coaching engineers to ensure that QA standards are met
Skills & Experience:
- 8 years in software testing and QA
- Strong test automation skills (5 years) for Web application and APIs, using test tools such as Selenium, Python, PyUnit
- 5 years of experience in Linux, SSH, SQL, and shell scripting
- 3 years of experience with cloud environments, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional learning ability and willingness to meet challenges, exhibiting strong pride of ownership in work product
- Team player with a desire to help others achieve their best
- BS / MS in IT or equivalent with a strong academic background
