Who we are looking for:

FastSpring is searching for a Director of Product Management to drive product innovation and accelerate growth for the business. As the leader of the product management team, you will be responsible for the delivery of cutting-edge products that will propel our company to new heights.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and executives, you will have the opportunity to identify and capitalize on market growth opportunities, prioritize features, and execute effective go-to-market strategies.

We are looking for an experienced technical product leader who possesses the drive and passion to build products that solve real-world problems, exceed customer expectations, and contribute to the company's success and growth. This is a high-impact role that reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and requires collaboration with various development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product planning, go to market strategy & prioritization of deliverables for end to end product delivery
  • Leading an excellent team of product managers who are defining, evangelizing, and executing a product roadmap
  • Champion the internal NPI process
  • Drive cross product initiatives, product strategy, and manage our product roadmap
  • Work closely with customers and market leaders to inform and define company product decisions and strategy
  • Collaborate to ensure consensus across the company stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Customer, and Executives
  • Mentor & grow the existing product management team
  • Evaluate & analyze external technology partners by contributing to build-versus-buy decisions by researching vendor and partner opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to create materials evangelizing FastSpring product features

Attributes for exceptional candidates:

  • 10 years experience in Product Management; 5 years managing teams to deliver innovative product solutions
  • A successful track record of leading a product team & developing well integrated teams with highly collaborative cultures
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade, communicate vision and motivate people at every level; collaborative working style
  • Demonstrated ability of understanding of B2B and B2C dynamics, including experience building B2B apps at scale
  • Experience in subscription management and billing is required
  • Experience in payments and eCommerce strongly preferred
  • Ability to work across the organization to bring products to market, growing revenue and margins
  • Data driven methodology to develop problem statements, analyze scenarios, and drive solutions
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple high priority tasks at once
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a Board of Directors, leadership, peers, and customers. tailoring your message to your audience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) methodologies preferred
  • Degree in a business or computer science field

Approximate salary range: $200,000 - $250,000
