University Registrar

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as University Registrar. This individual will direct the activities of the University Registrar's office which includes registration of students, accurate maintenance of student records and providing a central and consistent registration operation for Faulkner University. This position also guides the implementation of academic policies of the University and is responsible for the planning, budgeting, supervising and evaluating of personnel and programs within the Registrar's Office. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month position. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications and teaching experience.

Summary of Duties:

• Oversee all positions within the University Registrar's office
• Oversee the evaluation of transcripts from other institutions related to the granting of academic credit
• Provide oversight for all aspects of academic record-keeping and transcript production and integrity
• Maintain and oversee updated records of all curriculum changes
• Coordinate with academic units for production of University catalog
• Manage records for students on academic probation, working in conjunction with Program Directors and Chairs
• Supervise the coordination, evaluation and certification of all graduation applications
• Oversee the complete graduation process to include graduation ceremonies
• Monitor and verify student enrollment and share in preparation of enrollment reports
• Provide fiscal budget controls for the Registrar's Office

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in a related field preferred; Master's degree in a related field required
• Minimum of 7 years related experience required
• Active member of the church of Christ
