The Engineering team at Favor supports Favor’s mission to bring fast, fresh delivery to Texans far and wide. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Favor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end testing of our product portfolio including services, web, mobile web, and native mobile applications. You will work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to understand customer needs, build simple solutions to complex problems, and deliver delightful experiences to all our users.
\n- Recommend changes to processes and tools based on industry standards, patterns, and practicesWork with the other engineering leaders to drive technical decisions and technology adoption
- Work with the Engineering and Product Management teams to determine testing strategies for large features
- Work closely with stakeholders and Product teams to understand business needs and plan testing solutions to meet them
- Independently develop test plans and test complex features and code
- 4 years in a software testing role
- Advanced knowledge of testing techniques and the ability to determine the appropriate test methodology
- Ability to drive process change to the software development lifecycle of an engineering organization to encourage quality best practices
- Ability to perform code reviews and recognize potential defects in implementations
- Ability to lead larger initiatives with the Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Knowledge of automated testing tools (such as Selenium, XCUI, UIAutomator, or Cypress) and their uses
- You become a subject matter expert on your projects
- You own quality efforts from within your squad
