The Processing Manager will manage all processing employees and functions. They will be responsible for managing day to day activities of the team, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines and requirements. The role will also be responsible for achieving stated production goals and expectations through the engagement of the team.
What you will do for Constructive Capital:
- Manage the Processing/Opening functions and teams
- Develop/enhance policies, procedures, KPIs, and SLAs as required
- Ensure applicable policies, procedures, KPIs and SLAs are managed to and met
- Train staff on all policies, procedures, and other applicable items
- Manage workflow and oversee pipeline management for staff
- Manage employee performance including completing employee reviews and performance improvement plans as required
- Maintain detailed knowledge of current FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and other applicable guidelines
- Maintain detailed knowledge of and ensure adherence to current regulatory requirements (TRID, etc.)
- Initial escalation point for all processing and opening-related matters
- Facilitate communication between staff and other departments
- Recruit, interview, and hire staff while adhering to budget and capacity models
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring to Constructive Capital:
- High school diploma/ GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Residential Mortgage Closer processing FHA, FNMA, and FHLMC closings
- 2 years of management experience preferred
- Experience in managing teams to achieve results and operate in a fast-paced environment
- 3 years experience in managing teams in mortgage originations or similar functions within the industry
- Demonstrated problem solving and change management skills
- Strong interpersonal/human relations and collaboration skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to supervise others with emphasis on productivity, teamwork, and quality
- Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills
- Robust data/analytical skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Able to work independently and professionally under tight deadlines
- Detailed knowledge of all compliance requirements (TRID, HMDA, ECOA etc.) applicable to residential mortgage originations
- Knowledge of Encompass and Mavent
