Registered Nurse, Operating Room

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical-surgical procedures and possess a strong understanding of aseptic techniques and acute pain management.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures

- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist the surgical team during procedures

- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia administration

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care

- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth for documentation

**Qualifications:**

- Valid RN license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting

- Proficiency in aseptic techniques, catheter care, acute pain management, and neonatal ventilator support

- Knowledge of internal medicine practices and laboratory procedures

- Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and regulations

- Experience with electronic medical records systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $2,589.00 - $2,766.00 per week
