Freight Handler

We are a fast-growing logistics company that is looking for a well-organized teammate to join our Freight Forwarding Department. This position will be in charge of the operation of Forwarding Department by doing:

• Receiving order, booking with carriers, managing schedules, and dispatching truckers
• Promote positive relationships by ensuring excellent, timely and proactive customer service at all times and in conjunction with other departments and third parties while monitoring the quality of service produced by the team.
• Establish detailed profiles and procedures that properly represent import and export processes.
• Handling overall requests from customers and communicating with relevant counterparts
• Process bills of lading and provide clear instructions to the team for handling each shipment.
• Ensure shipments of hazardous materials are checked and processed in accordance with all applicable regulations under the applicable government agencies, Code of Federal Regulations
• Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations, communicating changes in domestic and foreign regulation procedures to client, co-workers and third parties in a clear, concise and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Chinese and English is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• 2 years experience in logistics industry

W2 employee, onsite, M-F 9am-6pm with one hour lunch, 10 days PTO, 5 days Sick, 100% health insurance coverage, H1b Sponsor based on performance, year-end bonus based on performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
