What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sustainability Analyst Intern position at FC Dallas?
The Sustainability Analyst Intern will play a pivotal role in advancing the Company’s environmental initiatives within the organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, the role will help to develop and implement the Company’s sustainability strategy, roadmap and focus areas.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Research emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and technologies, assessing their potential impact on our business.
- Compile and analyze relevant data to identify trends and recommend solutions and areas of focus for the Company’s sustainability efforts, taking into account complexity and resource allocation.
- Make recommendations relating to the Company’s sustainability roadmap, including short- and long-term goals.
- Monitor sustainability regulations and best practices and recommend changes to the Company’s sustainability policies.
- Engagement with internal stakeholders to track and report on sustainability initiatives and ensure reporting timelines and data integrity.
- Support the team on environmental initiatives as required.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience leading projects and coordinating initiatives across multiple stakeholders through influence to achieve measurable results.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to deliver on tactical initiatives.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office / G-Suite.
- Proven research and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to simplify and adapt complex concepts to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders and audiences (e.g., leadership, technical, internal, external, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
