About the role
This opportunity will develop your knowledge and client relationship skills faster than any in-house role. You will be an integral part of the ongoing growth of our HR advisory function. You will be supported as you learn and grow into the role where you are providing wholistic advice and consultation to a wide variety of industries and diverse range of clients including some of Australia’s leading commercial organisations, small to medium size enterprises (both white collar and blue collar), and several industry associations. You will join a team that is high-performing, driven, fast-paced and collaborative.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):-

• Managing incoming calls and emails to provide timely advice and consultation to clients on workplace relations and HR matters
• Maintaining and accurately entering information into the internal database and relevant internal systems
• Undertake research for particular matters or project work as requested
• Work closely with senior management in all areas of service delivery, business development, and the development of the broader advisory services team

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for candidates with the following:

• Studying formal qualifications in Law or HR: preferably 3rd or 4th year
• Some knowledge of Australian employment law and Modern Award framework (desired but not necessary)
• Pragmatic and commercial approach to providing advice (both written and verbally)
• Experience dealing directly with clients, or internal stakeholders, concerning workplace relations matter (desired but not necessary)
• Willing to look for solutions and use personal initiative
• Self-motivated with a desire to meet and exceed quality expectations
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment
