In-house manufacturing capabilities include transfer press stamping/forming, grob forming, flow-forming, aluminum die casting, electron beam welding, machining and assembly.

Responsibilities
1. Create and maintain controlled documents outlining proper methods for all department procedures (FMEA, CP, WS, VA, CS)
2. Create monthly manpower plan based on the monthly forecast. Reaction plans need to be established when monthly schedule cannot be met.
3. Create weekly overtime plans.
4. Confirm that all associates are following FCC’s safety requirements at all times.
5. Confirm corrective actions for all safety concerns within your department (SCARs) are completed properly addressing the actual root cause of the concern.
6. Confirm the implementation and results of environmental waste reduction improvements.
7. Promote and confirm conformance to the company’s ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste)
8. Confirm the implementation and results of turn over reductions.
9. Confirm your associate’s time and attendance records are complete and accurate.
10. Confirm corrective actions for all quality concerns within your department (MNCRs) are completed properly addressing the actual root cause of the concern.
11. Promote and confirm conformance to the company’s IATF 16949 procedures (work standards, check sheets, regulations, quality manual)
12. Confirm the implementation and results of OEE improvements.
13. Confirm the implementation and results of scrap reductions.
14. Confirm the implementation and results of down time reductions.
15. Confirm the implementation and results of cost reductions.
16. Confirm your departments Kaizen projects.
17. Confirm the plan to ensure all line side machine/equipment preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time. Confirm the completion of all line side machine/equipment preventative maintenance tasks.
18. Confirm inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts. Confirm corrective actions for discrepancies are completed properly addressing the actual root cause of the discrepancy.
19. Confirm process cycle times compared to target cycle times. Confirm corrective actions for discrepancies.
20. Oversee training associates. Trainee’s performance is understood by the trainee and department management (Initial Evaluation, Annual Evaluations, Performance Reviews).
21. Oversee your department’s cleanliness and organization. Department needs to understand and implement improvements using the 5C principle (Clean, clear, create, commit, continue).
22. Oversee the required quality checks system for the department. All checks are to be completed on time by all associates.
23. Oversee the work request system for the department. Work requests are to include good detail of the machine issue and the corrective action to resolve the issue.
24. Oversee the daily production schedule (quantities, changeovers, PPAPs). Daily production plan needs to be understood by all associates and all positions need to be assigned. Reaction plans need to be established when the daily schedule cannot be met.
25. Oversee the daily shift report sheets. Daily shift report sheets need to be have accurate information for department improvement items to be established (Product quantity, down time, scrap)
26. Knowledge of company policies and practices dealing with associate relations (free of discrimination, harassment, violence, drugs, and alcohol).
27. Knowledge and experience of departmental machines, equipment and procedures.
28. Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates
29. Attend meetings as needed to assist with department continuous improvements and corrective actions.
30. Additional projects assigned by management
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements
1. Degree in Industrial Technology /related field or equivalent work experience.

1. Essential functions of this job require the associate to regularly: sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, carry and lift
