What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at FCC Commercial Furniture?

We are looking for a person that brightens everyone’s day! A positive attitude and exceptional customer relations are essential to the position. Primary responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant position include coordinating current customer projects via phone and email, providing support to our sales staff and customers, working with our production staff, and managing detailed customer project information. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills are a must!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provide world class customer service to our customers.
  • Be a part of the team, ready to jump in where ever needed.
  • Be a customer service champion, problem solve issues daily, construction projects usually always have challenges.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
  • Maintain exceptional working relationships with customers, designers, expediters, contractors, and other staff in order to provide an outstanding customer experience
  • Ensure all aspects of each project are running smoothly by taking personal responsibility for their completion
  • Other tasks to support the overall team as assigned by Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Desire create a positive experience for others.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
  • Expert in problem resolution
  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Ability to be resourceful and a self-starter.
  • Organizational Rock Star.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Construction background or experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
