Manager, Premium Audit

We are currently seeking an experienced premium audit professional to help lead a team of both field auditors and internal operations teammates in our Premium Audit Department. This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Sarasota, FL and is eligible for our hybrid work policy with two days per week from home after initial onboarding.

What you will do in this role:

• Manage premium audit team for assigned territory to include oversight of daily functions, workloads and deadlines.
• Participate in audits and/or visit agency partners to address escalated issues or concerns as needed.
• Prepare management reports regarding audit activities, results, observations and recommendations.
• Help to identify external audit vendor partners.

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent); NOTE - Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.
• Minimum of six years’ relevant business experience, including two years in a leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge of Premium auditing rules, classification system & codes for auditable lines of P&C business.
• Advanced knowledge of NCCI / ISO / PAAS manual content and state special audit-related rules & statutes.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
