Business Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Drive change in the organization through data analysis.
• Prepare a wide variety of reports and analysis, including:
  • Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, including production, labor, quality, and inventory.
  • Sales and marketing reports by customer and product line.
  • Rebate analysis (customer and vendor).
  • Freight costs and trends by type of freight and distance.
  • Budget variances.
  • Financial statements, data and ratios.
• Be an essential part of the planning and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly and annual).
• Analyze trends in the market and industry upon request.
• Communicate analytical findings verbally or in writing to appropriate team members.
• Make recommendations to management based on facts and analysis.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in accounting, finance, statistics, mathematics, or analytics is required.
• Two to five years of experience is recommended.
• Strong proficiency in other Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Microsoft Excel Power Query, SQL and NetSuite Analytics experience a plus.
