Summary:

Performs general cleaning and housekeeping of offices, restrooms, and all common areas of the Northwood manufacturing facility. Empties office trash and recycling containers and vacuums carpets on a regular basis. Responsible for disposing of biohazard materials to ensure environmental compliance. Keeping a clean environment creates a positive atmosphere for visitors and employees.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, toilet paper, hand towels and hand soap dispensers.
  • Clean and disinfect the breakroom and coffee areas. Including all tabletops, countertops, microwaves and refrigerators.
  • Clean, disinfect and mop the breakroom and restroom floors.
  • Vacuum and remove spots from carpets and walk /off mats throughout the plant including all offices, hallways, stairs and meeting/training rooms.
  • Empty all trash, recycling, and hazardous containers in the offices, meeting/training rooms, restrooms and breakroom and take to the designated areas.
  • Clean plant offices, meeting/training rooms and hallways including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash and recycle bins.
  • Clean employee entrances, mopping, dusting and glass cleaning.
  • Dust mop and power scrub plant aisles as needed.
  • Clean and polish lighting fixtures, counter tops, windows and trim.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED, and less than six months related experience and/or training.
