What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney-Advisor (Investigations) position at Federal Labor Relations Authority?
This position is located in the FLRA/OIG in Wash., DC. The incumbent has a dual role who serves as Counsel to the Inspector General (IG) and serves as the Assistant Inspector General for Investigations. The Counsel/AIGI is responsible for investigating serious and often sensitive and complex misconduct or mismanagement allegations involving FLRA employees and contractors as well as allegations and conducting special reviews on matters of importance to our stakeholders and the public.

- The selectee must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level, which has equipped the selectee with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Professional experience in an organization that conducts investigative, prosecutorial, oversight, inspection, audit, or compliance functions.
- Extensive experience analyzing complex legal issues, including making statutory, regulatory, and contract interpretations; and developing sound and supportable legal recommendations and arguments.
- Demonstrated ability to represent an organization professionally and articulate the organization's position at meetings and in interactions with high-level officials, and to coordinate with internal and external offices.
Salary : $155,700 - $183,500
