Analyze and reformat spreadsheets and other relevant electronic data in order to upload data into drawback software. Under close supervision, files drawback entries for the refund of duties by preparing and submitting prior notice drawback entries to CBP.
Coordinates the collection of documents or data from various sources to initiate claims. Reports status of clients' activity to immediate supervisor receipt of documents claim, revenue generation, and other issues as necessary.
Maintains client subject files with accurate and current information. Provides guidance and counsel to data entry staff for the accurate input of the clients' data for claim information.
High school diploma / GED. One-and-one half (1 1 / 2) years experience in customs brokerage. Ability to analyze and research drawback data to determine fit into drawback software and to provide trending information to supervisor.
General knowledge of cbp rules, regulations, tariff schedule and import and export transactions. Excellent communication skills to maintain claim-filing schedule.
Ability to prioritize workload. Ability to perform mathematical computations such as pro-ration, addition, subtraction and multiplication.
