POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Product Manager oversees collaborative projects and potential resources focusing on strategic initiatives relating to technical systems functionality and usability improvements. The Digital Product Manager is the subject matter expert on the digital platforms and omni-channel experience. The Digital Product Manager will support the rapid enhancement and growth of our digital products and experiences, playing a leading role in the roadmap for strategic initiatives. This role will work across various key functions including: IT, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Product Development, Business Development, Operations Support, Customer Experience, Commercial Sales, and Retail Store Operations. This position is the bridge between the development teams and the strategic layer and is empowered to help drive performance and clarity to aid in the execution on the priorities with development planning increments. This role will be a participant to crafting the strategic direction for the digital platforms and omni-channel experience.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Solution, technology and team facing (embedded in program)
- Responsible for working with the Product Managers to break down work and refine into features for the backlog, is also able to refine the features into stories to provide to developers.
- Owns team backlog and implementation.
- Continuously refines work/features, prioritizing and sequencing them on the program roadmap.
- Works across customers, architects, and other stakeholders to convert solutions into realizable business value.
- Define feature acceptance criteria and the definion of completion/ release to customer
- Experience delivering products through the entire SDLC in an agile environment.
- Steward for maintaining the health of the digital platforms, omni-channel experience and responsible for maintaining key performance indicators for assigned area and/or initiative
- Oversee and manage the teams responsible for the day to day site development priorities through a keen understanding of Agile development processes by providing the strategic vision and defining the roadmap
- Works with business leaders and project team members to assess current capabilities and identify requirements
- Reengineers key process and capabilities and maps to future-state vision.
- Ensure the development team always has an adequate amount of defined tasks to pull into production for each cycle
- Provides services, including practices, expertise, and resources to tackle business challenges and help identify and manage needed process improvements (including identification of new or improved business capabilities).
- Works closely with the IT Architects ensuring that needed business capabilities are met by the most efficient, effective use of IT processes, technology and data management.
- Project Manage the activities within a development planning cycle; ensuring internal and vendor deliverables
- Provide perspective and recommendations toward prioritization and trade-offs
- Collaborate with Product Development on new product launches and alignment with promotional strategies
- Monitor and report on progress with regular updates to Senior Management
- Collaborate with Customer Insights , Customer Experience, and Design resources to ensure the proper user journey is implemented
- Stay informed of latest trends in eCommerce strategy and product development and participate in discussion to drive change internally when necessary to ensure FedEx Office is following the optimal methodologies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s (MBA) degree preferred
- Experience working in a leadership role in Agile and SAFe Agile development organizations
- 6 years of related experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in product management, product development, project management, partnership strategy, corporate strategy, management consulting, or related field
- 5 years Prior experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project)
- Prior experience in working in cross-discipline functions with a demonstrated ability to influence outside of formal reporting lines
- Prior experience in a multi-location retail environment preferred
- Prior experience working on highly complex / cross functional projects
