Job Summary: To manage the design and development activities for a group, Responsibility includes systems and application analysis, programming, feasibility studies, etc. To manage a team of IT professionals focused on systems architecture. Responsible for designing architectural solutions to solve business problems through progressive elaboration and decomposition while also focused on continuous inspect and adapt of processes.
Strong leadership and communication skills required. Technical background and understanding of Systems Architecture. Ability to organize bodies of work, work across multiple teams, and inspect/adapt process.
Duties/Responsibilities;
- Lead strategic IT M&A initiatives; provide updates to all levels of management
- Collaborate across Global business and IT teams in order to ensure M&A initiative capabilities are delivered within scope and on schedule
- Act as a thought leader in selected technology and business activity domain – M&A integration
- Participate in pre due-diligence and due diligence activities and build IT cost models
- Coordinate with the Architecture teams to leverage the business architecture blueprints to guide and inform all initiatives (design principles, requirements analysis and management, capability definition and management, business process definition and integration, strategic roadmap definition and alignment, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience leading the architecture and development of scalable solutions
- Champion the use of business architecture standards, tools, best practices, and development methodologies for M&A activities
- Partner with industry analysts, software vendors and internal stakeholders as necessary to support M&A initiative delivery
- Extensive experience in the development and management of large scale global initiatives
- Extensive project and program management experience
Abilities/Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus:
- Systems Architecture
- Development/Infrastructure
- Extensive knowledge of Express global operations a plus
- Experience in Business Case Development a plus
- Experience with Finance components such as capital request and finance (capital and expense guidelines)
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in: Collierville, TN
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, math or directly related quantitative Degree or related field. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Five (5) years systems development experience which includes programming. Skill in one or more programming languages. If position is in mainframe environment, complex systems experience on IBM operating systems or microprocessors required. Experience in the technical design and development of major data processing projects. IMS experience. If position is in client/server environment, systems development experience to include distributed systems is required. Experience in client/server technology, object oriented (OO) development or case tools. Experience in the technical design and development of major client/server projects. Knowledge of software and engineering principles. Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills
