Job Summary:
Ensures application of systems thinking principles, allowing team members to independently design, code, test, and deploy software. Provide the necessary documentation to support the software Development Life Cycle. Develop prototypes and solutions leveraging a diverse range of technology. Apply modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch new business capabilities.
Abilities/Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus:
- Java/J2EE technologies including Spring Boot framework
- API/Web Services: Restful, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XML, Microservices
- Enterprise scale event driven architecture
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- CI/CD integration experience using industry standard components and pipeline tools
- Datastax Enterprise
- Messaging technologies (JMS and Kafka)
- Design and development of cloud native applications
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology
- Basic understanding of IBM AS/400
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information systems and two years coding experience in a professional environment OR
Formal completion of a bootcamp certification and two years work experience in operations, business or technical field and two years coding experience in a professional environment OR
Bachelor’s degree and formal completion of a bootcamp certification and two years coding experience in a professional environment OR
Bachelor’s degree and two years work experience in technical field and two years coding experience in a professional environment.
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Coraopolis, PA (Pittsburgh area), Collierville, TN (Memphis area) or Colorado Springs, CO.
