Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking Network Application Administrator/Cyberspace Operations at Peterson CO. Active Secret Clearance and a United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position. This is an upcoming position contingent on contract award.
Provide Network Application Administration support 690 COG AOR Network Operations. Maintaining the network and ensure its ongoing health and viability for the underlying systems. Maintaining computer networks and systems, including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware. Installing and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues. Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected. Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks. Communicate networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users. Fix application, software, and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring completion of assigned change request and incident ticket within 30 days of creation.
- Ensuring that no more than 15% of all incident tickets and change requests exceed 60 days old
- Maintaining compliance with certification requirements
- Implement Endpoint Protection
- Oversee Vulnerability Assessments
- Maintaining vulnerability management tools
- Maintaining AFCYBER Site Contents
- Maintaining and update the ESD Portal
- Track and validate IAVM compliance and report.
- Provide trend analysis and reporting IAVM compliance via the Vulnerability Assessment Trend and Analysis Report due by the 3rd business day of the month
- Facilitate IAVM actions based on Intel, tool reports, and Orders
- Recommend Vulnerability Remediation actions to operators
- Provide Reports with AF-provided tools
- Performing and/or overseeing patch management
- Ensuring equipment and infrastructure devices comply with all orders
- Ensuring completion of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Report and deliver by the 3rd business day of the month
- Ensuring proper administration, configuring, monitoring, operating, managing, and maintaining relevant End Point Protection point products (Anti-Virus (AV), Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), Policy Auditor, and DLP products, Agent Handler, ePolicy Orchestrator, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with approved security updates, patches, baselines, associated orders, and network defense directives
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Network/Cyberspace Operations: Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Strong familiarity with IAW TO 00-33A-1109 - AF-GIG Vulnerability Management and AFTOs 00-33A-1001 and 00-33A-1109
- Specific Experience in Network/Cyberspace Operations, Enterprise Data Centers, and Operations
- Work well with others

- DISA ACAS Version 5.3
- HBSS MR5 Admin
- HBSS MR5 Advanced
- Information Assurance Technical (I
- AT) II
- Intel Security Product Specialist – ePolicy Orchestrator
Clearance:
- Must be a US Citizen and an Active Secret Clearance.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
